Terms of Service

GoStockMe provides a platform for financial literacy and the gifting of fractional shares of stock. We facilitate account opening and trading through our integration partners, including Alpaca Securities LLC, Sila, and Plaid. We are not a bank, and we do not provide legal or tax advice.

• Age: You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Minor accounts must be opened as custodial accounts by a parent or legal guardian.
• Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate.
• Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for any activities or actions under your account.

GoStockMe is not a registered broker-dealer. Brokerage services are provided by Alpaca Securities LLC, member FINRA/SIPC. By using the Services, you also agree to:

• The Alpaca Securities LLC: Customer Agreement.
• The Sila: Terms of Service for digital wallet and payment processing.
• The Plaid: End User Privacy Policy for bank account linking.

Gifting stock involves the purchase of fractional shares. Fractional shares cannot be transferred to other broker-dealers and must be liquidated if you close your account. Market volatility may impact the value of gifts between the time of purchase and settlement.

You agree not to: (i) use the Services for any illegal purpose; (ii) attempt to interfere with the proper working of the Services; (iii) reverse engineer any aspect of the platform; or (iv) use any automated system to scrape data.

We reserve the right to charge fees for certain features of the Services. All fees will be disclosed to you prior to being incurred. You are responsible for any fees charged by your bank or mobile carrier.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GoStockMe shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of the Services.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be settled by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) in accordance with its Commercial Arbitration Rules. The venue for arbitration shall be Jacksonville, Florida.

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.
